About FORRT Lighthouse
FORRT Lighthouse is a place for researchers, teachers, and practitioners to learn about research topics and areas in a guided way. What sets it apart from other sources of knowledge is that it integrates various different sources. The version you are viewing is a prototype that we are working to polish and expand with the help of the research community. Get in touch if you want to help us coordinate Lighthouse entries in specific (sub)disciplines.
Data & Validation
This project is the spiritual successor to FORRT's Replications and Reversals list, which is where it inherited most of the current data such as effect size descriptions from. This is an overview of data sources and their status:
- FORRT Replications and Reversals: https://forrt.org/reversals
- FORRT Library of Reproduction and Replication Attempts: https://forrt.org/replication-hub/flora
- Retractionwatch Database (via Crossref): https://retractiondatabase.org/RetractionSearch.aspx?
- Wikipedia articles: https://www.wikipedia.org
- Pubpeer comments [work in progress]: https://pubpeer.com
For each discipline, project members oversee the structure of subdisciplines and clusters and coordinate community-augmentation.
